Ryan spent many replies insulting me for claiming how calling addiction a disease has limits.
In the same thread he explains to this guy how CHOICES are involved with overcoming addiction.
The difference: this guy politely deferred to his authority as an expert of some kind.
One difference is the way moral behavior is associated with illicit drug use. Another: addiction is poorly understood. Another is the way crusaders want to solve the problem - using GREATER collective control over the market and individual health choices. There are others.

Local media keeps reporting how police "saved" a drug-sniffing dog using Narcan. The police dog was exposed to ecstasy.
If true, "saved" should be replaced by "poisoned" (by hysterical anti-opioid cultists).
