In his latest stress-test of the Republic, @realDonaldTrump’s is threatening to seize Constitutional power from Congress under the false pretense of a “national emergency”. This is a straight-ahead attack on our democracy. He is enabled by @GOP toadies who apparently believe abusing Executive branch powers is laudable if done by provoking a humanitarian crisis, falsely calling it an invasion of brown people, and repeatedly lying about every aspect of the issue.
