Dunkirk and Moscow, if they’d destroyed or captured the BEF instead halting. It’s likely peace faction in the British parliament would have been victorious.

This way Germany could make peace in the west before even driving east. (Probably) @EveGerman90 @KarlRadl The British establishment was divided on the war, and the BEF dying would have been the excuse needed to end it.

It didn’t just contain the backbone of trained troops, but also pretty much all generals which would be needed to train other armies. It would take years not months.
