I am shocked (shocked!) about the discrepancy between the urgency to make progress on climate action and the nature of the ongoing @UNFCCC #COP25 negotiations. Take adaptation as an example, countries aren't talking about how to raise ambition. 1/4 @UNFCCC Instead they are fighting about the "registry" for adaptation communications. Basically it's just a webpage. The issue is if and how it is linked to the webpage that lists countries' NDCs. Without a place to submit and access adaptation communications, none will be prepared. 2/4
