My spouse was just turned down for a job that asked him to complete a 40-hour test. Sure, I'm pissed that the only feedback they gave him was a "thanks, but we're moving forward with someone else," but I'm LIVID that this company is setting a standard with tests like these. One, a 40-hour test presumes candidates don't have FT work. You can't possibly do this while holding a full-time job. My spouse was working OT at his current job, so literally every waking hour of his life for THREE WEEKS was work. And half of it was working for free.
