I offered the following parting thoughts to my graduating @iveybusiness HBA2 class at @WesternU

I thought it would be useful to others if adapted & shared more broadly #1: Stay in touch

Loose networks are important

Look for opportunities to connect two people that could benefit from each other

You'll all do amazing things, and you can help each other do those amazing things by keeping in touch

On its own, the revised guidance on Moderna for 18-24 males in Ontario is a good thing

We should be responding to data and making changes when appropriate

It should increase trust in public health and reduce vaccine hesitancy

But it won't, because of what came before it For months, 18-24 year olds heard

"Take whatever vaccine you can ASAP"

or else

"You can't go to university unless you take it"

"You can't go to a restaurant unless you take it"

"You have to quarantine after travel unless you take it"

It always struck me as odd when people criticized the PPC for wanting to "limit" immigration to 75% of current levels as "racist"

If limiting immigration to 100k people is racist, then why is limiting immigration to 400k people *NOT* racist?

Why not limit it to 4 million? Seriously! The current Liberal government "limits" immigration to 400,000 people / year

Why are we not decrying this racist policy?

Why aren't we letting in 4 million immigrants every year?

Or 40 million?

If 100k is racist

Then surely 40 million is anti-racist?
