Thoughts on White House seizing control of pool coverage:

1. Next step on the slippery slope is to control who has access to video and audio of presidential events. U.S. military records and distributes audio/video feeds now. In the late 1980s/early 1990s, then-Arkansas Governor @BillClinton honored her with a ceremony at the state Capitol. I covered the event.
