POLICE ARREST SUSPECTED CULTIST

Operatives of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in the early hours of July 8, 2023, arrested a suspected cultist in Ikoyi and recovered one semiautomatic pistol, four live ammunition and one hat with cult insignia from him. The suspect, Idris Ayinla 'm' aged 33, alongside three other occupants were in a red Toyota Matrix with registration number EKY 638 EX, heading towards Oniru Beach when the operatives on routine patrol of Admiralty Road, Ikoyi flagged them down.

Police operatives attached to Surulere Division have arrested one Peter Arinola @ Empire Area, Surulere, with an English Pistol while he was negotiating and harassing a lady for sex. 2. The suspect was said to have used the pistol to intimidate the lady to agree to his terms and the amount he wanted to pay, but the lady insisted on certain amount of money. Peter brought out the pistol and wanted to force the lady to sex forcing the lady to raised alarm

POLICE OFFICERS CAUGHT ON CAMERA ASSAULTING A LAWYER ARRESTED

The police officers captured on video assaulting a young lawyer said to be demanding his salary and posted on the Instagram have been arrested for unprofessional conduct. @Gidi_Traffic @followlasg @TrafficChiefNG The video was posted by OAKTVOnline with the caption "SARS officers assault young lawyer allegedly demanding for his salary in Lagos".

The Commissioner of Police saw and constituted an investigative panel to study the video. Findings revealed that the officers were not SARS.
