At 40, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, walked through the park in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favourite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully. Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for the doll.

When I lost my father about 35 years ago , my mom started working as a clerk for Indian railway’s library, meant for executives/staff.

We had very little means, could not afford much including books…

I would sneak in to read all possible things I was interested in… Access to library proved to be great boon as many of the books/magazine were out of our reach.

HBR (Harvard Business Review) @HarvardBiz was one of them and reading case studies was fun pastime for me.

Open bidding, so that interested buyers can see the product, and hopefully outbid each other and hence farmer getting the best price
