The price of your KDP books should follow the three-phase formula...
1. Launch Phase 2. Growth Phase 3. Scaling Phase
Here's how to correctly price your book on Amazon KDP
A THREAD🧵
Before we go into the three phases, there's an important message...
Your general book price is dictated by two things:
1. Your competitors price 2. Your book quality
Now I always preach your book should be the best quality in the niche so number 2 shouldn't be an issue

KDP Foundations #5: Book Listing
This is probably the 3rd most important part of the whole KDP process
I've already covered keywords earlier this week so in this short thread I'm going to cover:
Your title/subtitle
Description
A+ content
Let's dive in🔥
1. Your title/subtitle
First things first, this is where your book SEO is the strongest soooo
PUT YOUR BEST KEYWORD AT THE START OF YOUR TITLE OR SUBTITLE
I'd aim for 2 to 3 of your best keywords in your title/subtitle and no more
Don't be a keyword stuffer

KDP Foundations #2: Keyword Research
Part 1: What is it?
Keyword research is simply a process of making sure the audience that wants to buy your book is actually able to find it
There’s no point making a great book if a customer can’t find it
That’s where keywords come in ⏬
Part 2: How to do it:
A keyword needs to do 2 things:
1. Have high search volume - to show people are searching for it
2. Have low demand - to show you’ll be able to rank well
In reality though, you’ll rarely have both so you need to find a balance somewhere in between

Here's a great example of how to optimise your Amazon ads and make more sales on KDP⏬⏬
Super short and valuable thread🧵
The above example which we are going to use has been taken from the 'search term' section of an auto ad!
There are two ways we are going to use this data to optimise this book's ads:
1. Move into exact targeting
2. Negative targeting
Here's how you'd do it👇

Amazon KDP have released a new AI-generated content section in their upload process
Here's everything you need to know about the update⏬
First I'm going to go over KDP's definitions:
They make a clear distinction between AI-generated and AI-assisted content
AI-generated: Copy and paste something from ChatGPT into your book
AI-assisted: Using ChatGPT to come up with ideas and then putting your own spin on them

Here's exactly what I would do if I was just starting KDP and wanted a realistic game plan📕
A Thread⏬
The first thing I would do is get a full understanding of how KDP actually works
Far too many people just jump in without properly understanding KDP, having a strategy or even really knowing what they're doing
How I'd do this:

Firstly, this thread is purely from research and personal experience.
Please ALWAYS do your own research and checks before uploading anything. I do not know everything so your books are your responsibility
THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE
This is just to help from what I do know

🧵Today's Thread🧵
My recommended blueprint to Amazon KDP success in 2022
Real talk, no 'get-rich-quick' scheme here, just a strategy I'd recommend having built a successful KDP business for the last 3 years
Step by step how I would plan to go from $0 to $1,000+ per month
Firstly, there are 2 things I feel are non-negotiables
1) You have to be patient and consistent. This success is likely going to take 2 years+
2) KDP is a game, your goal is simply to learn how to play the game, the money will follow. Learning is SO important on your journey

Since I started publishing on KDP 2 and a half years ago, I have:
💰Sold £158,000 worth of books
✅Made > £55,000 in royalties
📙 Sold > 22,000 units
Here are the 5 most important lessons I've learnt during that time⏬⏬
I wasted hours of my life learning these the hard way 1) Quality wins... EVERY TIME
Treat your customers like humans, not robots. If your book isn't adding value to customers' lives in any way, guess what, they aren't going to buy it.
Provide value to your customer (fun, education, time saving etc) and offer what competitors don't

What would I do if I was thinking about starting Amazon Ads for KDP but didn't really know too much about them ⬇️⬇️
Firstly, it's important to know that ad strategy is dependent on the individual (how much they have to spend, how much they can lose etc...)
In this case, I'm going to assume you don't have a huge amount to invest and don't want to be too risky with your ads

Why I think Fiverr is essential to succeeding on KDP and growing to £1,000+ royalties per month:👇👇
I'm going to walk you through the process of using Fiverr to produce a book that involves you doing HARDLY ANY OF THE WORK!
Firstly for those who don't know what Fiverr is, it's a global marketplace where you can hire freelancers to do certain work for you (they usually specialise in something so chances are they can do a task to a better standard than we can)
