Why should we care that Benny is threatening federal agents? Because Benny is an active duty Navy JAG Officer. 1/6 Benny proudly shared his taking of the oath to join the US Navy JAG Corps last year on his LinkedIn account. 2/6

An Army JAG officer is having a conversation about the new administration’s policies and how “the silence is scarier” in reply to a comment about scary times. She replies to a comment about compliance and states “malicious compliance” in quotes, subtly suggesting more will be done to subvert the new policies.

According to my contact in the JAG community, “MAJ Revelle is one of the "anointed ones" of the JAGC and was given the unique opportunity to pursue an LLM in government affairs and then work in the Legislative Affairs office as a fellow. What this means is that Hope is representing the U.S. Army in Congress. I can only imagine the poisonous influence she will have in that office and the damage she will do to anything the GOP Majority attempts to do with regards to the military. She would be one of the first people they would go to for the Army's POV on legislation. Such a person can't hold this position during a Republican congressional Majority and Administration.”

As the DOD and other federal agencies respond to new guidance and directives, I want to track what they say vs. what they do. The DHA (Defense Health Agency) issued a memo to their work force stating:

“We are taking steps to close all agency DEIA offices and end all DELA-related contracts in
accordance with President Trump's executive orders titled Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing and Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions.”
