🇺🇸THE BENJAMIN MARTIN OPTION🇺🇸 🧵

(1/)

There is a moment in the downfall of a nation when the question is no longer whether extraordinary action is justified, but whether hesitation itself has become culpable; not whether the system can be corrected, but whether continuing to behave as though it can has become an act of self-deception.

That moment is not announced. It is not ratified by institutions. It is not certified by courts, or experts—and if it was, we wouldn't believe them.

It arrives quietly, after every call for patience has already been honored—and exhausted.

We are there.

We are Benjamin Martin, from the movie The Patriot, holding his dying child on the front steps of his burning house.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3 “To everything there is a season… a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up.”Image CAPTURE, NOT BREAKDOWN (2/)

The American system has not broken. It has been captured.

In a broken system, errors are visible. Incompetence produces crisis. Corruption provokes punishment. Authority can be confronted because it can be named.

In a captured system, error becomes structural. Correction mechanisms are absorbed and neutralized. Elections change personnel but not direction. Courts and legislatures move against their own citizens at worst, and delay at best. The system continues to operate, but increasingly toward ends alien to those it was designed to serve.

This is not accidental. Liberal administrative regimes are optimized for exactly this condition. They do not rule directly; they manage. They do not assert moral authority; they proceduralize it. They do not suppress opposition; they exhaust it. Time becomes the weapon. Delay becomes governance.

The citizen is therefore instructed—endlessly—that nothing can be done except more of what has already failed. More process. More patience. More trust in institutions that no longer recognize the people they claim to serve.

At that stage, insisting on normal remedies is not principled restraint. It is participation in managed decline.

Isaiah 59:14–15 “Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off… truth is fallen in the street.”Image

Why I'm selling my 20 acre slice of paradise in the mountains and moving to town: a thread 🧵

My reasons are as follows... Image 2/
Family time -

"But doesn't homesteading/farming in the country give you more time and less busy-ness?"

Ha! Homesteading/farming has great things to offer, such as work ethic, patience and skill-building. But extra time isn't one of them. Image

Understanding Holocaust Skepticism 🧵 1/

This is a topic I've sought to understand since 2017. I see 6 things here:

1. Initial discovery
2. Common discrepancies
3. Common responses
4. Antisemitism
5. Common conclusion
6. Carrying on

Let's go... Image 2/
Initial discovery -

It began with curiosity. "What is holocaust denial?" or "what books did the nazis burn?" went into searches bars. "Because antisemitism" the response to the first question; as ubiquitous as unhelpful. But the answer to the latter might have caught your eye Image

James White & Crusader Stuff: A Thread 🧵 1/11)

I listened to both relevant DLs and read some tweets. I see 6 things here:

1 – “I don’t get it!”

2 – Papist Theology

3 – Extrapolation Error

4 – Symbolism

5 – Serious Parody

6 – Theology of Protection

- “I don’t get it!”

He said this a lot. Fair enough. He doesn’t.

A reminder to try to “get it” before ripping a demographic. Recently young men have made great strides against Lady Folly. Perhaps mocking their fitness and facial hair isn’t a path to reaching them. Image

A thread🧵 on views of a "high performance" people: what we're missing.

I just watched this video for the first time. I appreciate the men in it, each in their own way. But are some of us over-thinking this whole thing? It's easy to do when a veil gets yanked. Image 2/
One side submitted that Talmudians were somehow blessed in the productivity department, while the other pointed to something darker.

But our eternal outlook has been so mishapen the last century that even the seasoned eschat optimist can fail to ID his shadow counterpart... Image
