Today, @Amplitude_HQ went public and became a $7B company.

I joined as an early PM hire in 2016 and left as an EVP a few months ago. When I joined, our FMV was <$30M. This is in stark contrast to the early stage ecosystem today with so much hype, one worries about substance. Amplitude was easily the least hyped startup in the "growth stack" that took birth ~2010. We weren't first to market, didn't get pre-emptive offers, press didn't cover us.
