Exceptional week at many (and all) levels. At the center, is the great privilege of becoming an American. Lots of boxes to check, lots of forms, but with that came the deeply meaningful experience of revisiting civics and US history. Friends held US civics game nights and suffered pop quizzes (teens love it, BTW). I made it my business to make sure everyone had to answer 20 Qs on the USCIS civics app. apps.apple.com/us/app/uscis-c…. I even practiced with a friend while keeping her company during her chemotherapy.
