No Presidential campaign has spent more time thinking about young voters than the 2024 Biden.
@JulieR2022 and @quentinfulks know that young people are a key part of the coalition, and have kept us at mind every step of the way in an unprecedented way.
Things aren’t perfect, they never are. But Julie, Quentin, and the team at the DNC (h/t @harrisonjaime @samcornale @RogerLau) have proven that they are listening to young people in a way I haven’t seen before. They’re phenomenal at this.

Holy shit. Tennessee Legislators who stood with student protesters last week are being removed from all their committees.
The Republican Party is literally waging war against Gen Z and our allies. We'll make them regret it.
Here's the letter that lawmakers are receiving, from the Tennessee Holler:
The “culture wars” are over. We won. They lost. Young people will never buy into the far right’s retrograde agenda.
They are becoming more and more extreme because they are desperate, because they know they lost and their time is running out.
Young people support abortion rights. We support LGBTQ+ rights. We support comprehensive education. We yearn to learn about our past mistakes.
The far right’s base isn’t getting any younger. They want to cause as much damage as possible before they’re permanently out of power.

This thread is a list of Gen Z activists actually doing the work and not just tweeting for clout. You should follow them.
I remain confident we can win this.
It's gonna be close – closer than it should be, frankly – but the math is there for young voters to get us across the finish line.

Republicans just introduced a federal Don’t Say Gay bill, and it’s much worse than the Florida version.
It’d defund any school, hospital, or institution that exposes minors to any LGBTQ+ materials — or even LGTBQ+ staff.
After she kicked a member of our team and told me to go back to my country, we are filling an ethics complaint against Marjorie Taylor Greene to hold her accountable.

A failed term? In under two years, Biden has signed an infrastructure bill, a GVP bill, an economic relief package, a tech manufacturing bill, and is about to sign the most significant climate investment in history.
Not to mention he’s nominated a record number of judges and signed executive orders protecting fundamental rights under attack by the states.

Took magic and a lot of luck, but we made it to Boston.
Looking forward to joining @AFTunion tomorrow as they wrap their convention.
HAHAHAHAHAHA they have a “problem at the gate”
I’m laughing because I’ll start crying if not

I feel we really need to talk about the manosphere and how it frequently serves as an entry point to the alt-right pipeline.
THREAD 🧵
The main problem with the manosphere is that it camouflages itself as just self improvement tips. It attracts men who genuinely want to be better and slowly turns them into foot soldiers in the culture wars.

We like to keep @VotersTomorrow non-partisan, but there’s no way around it now.
Republicans are coming for young American’s sex life — and they need to know about it.
So we partnered with @PathToProg to spread the message.

I said yesterday that I wanted to register a few hundred thousand young voters across key states.
Some of you asked how to help, so...

1/ The single most important thing that you could do is chip in to @VotersTomorrow. We're fully funded by grassroots donation, and running field and digital programs isn't cheap.
🎉 @VotersTomorrow is turning 2 today! When I started the organization, I couldn't have hoped for anything more.
For its 2nd birthday, I invite you to take a look at our journey to becoming one of the leading youth-focused groups of the pro-democracy coalition.
🧵 THREAD 🧵
I first thought of the name “Voters of Tomorrow” in June 2019, and registered a twitter account.
I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted the organization to be. As we got closer to the 2020 election, though, our mission became clear: we had to turn out young voters against facism.

Picture this:
You’re a single mom who worked a minimum wage job. Your parents watched your kid over while you worked.
During the pandemic, both your parents died and you were left with long term COVID. You were laid off from your job.
/THREAD/
Now, you’re finally vaccinated but still have some complications. You can’t do physical exercise, your lungs won’t allow it.
You and your child have survived all this time on unemployment alone.

Okay, I guess we’re going this again.
Let’s define socialism, Twitter, cause apparently way too many people have no fucking clue what it is.
Socialism, aka, when the proletariat owns the means of production.

We really need to talk about the abuse, harassment ,and violent threats that political commentators face.
/THREAD/
First of all, I want to be clear that I’m not trying to make myself a victim:
I understand that people of color, women, religious minorities, and members of the LGBTQ community face this everyday, and likely much worse attacks than I receive...

The “trans women in schools sports makes it unfair” is not only transphobic, it’s downright idiotic.
You might as well say that having tall girls in sports makes it unfair, because “how could a 5’2 girl compete with a 6’2 girl?”
Genetics have always made competition unfair.
Michael Phelps’ height is a genetic advantage he has over other swimmers.
Do you see his competitors say it’s unfair for him to compete with them? No.

So much batshittery has gone down, that I think a 2020 batshittery rewind is in order.
And tbh, you probably already forgot about like half of these.
JANUARY:
- We almost had a war with Iran, on like day 2. Literally.
- Trump promised to give free dishwashers to his supporters, cause why not
