so... let's talk about $ubi price. every now and then, haters like to remind me the fact that price has gone down recently.

that's fine: back in the early days of $btc or $eth i received the same messages with crashing charts trying to fud me.

but let me share why i'm bullish. Image first: $ubi v2 development is moving at fast pace. this will extend $ubi's utility by extending its streaming features allowing anyone receiving $ubi via @proofofhumanity to delegate a % of their stream to someone else, transfering money in real time at a very low gas cost.

it was a rant about how complex this problem is and an overview of the different approaches tackling the *proof of human* (PoH) problem. the social blockchain able to deliver on promises of more democratic governance or implementing universal basic income at scale would emerge if PoH gets figured out.

but as @Snowden pointed out: don’t verify identities, verify rights.

1/ on this thread i’ll try to explain our current line of research at @DemocracyEarth that led us to the model described in token.democracy.earth on how to use the blockchain for a borderless democracy. 2/ a fundamental requirement for *any* voting system is having a consensus on who gets the right to vote on an election. without that, any election can be manipulated (eg “dead people in voter registries” or “db admin delaying registrations”). so identity becomes a key aspect.
