Just got a less redacted version of these records, and NPS provided the photos initially withheld.
New version shows the acting superintendent and acting deputy supt. responded to the principal's email and said problems were being addressed.
In the first story, I wrote about how teachers said a live rat was seen eating the head of the dead rat. And either there are two cannabalistic rats at the school, or one of these newly shared photos depicts the aftermath of that.

I'm at a meeting of the Booker T. Washington task force: j.mp/2Wn6ifY. I'm not sure what the task force is, or who is on it, or what the agenda is. Beyond the vice chairman floating the idea, the board hasn't had any discussions about this committee or its purpose.
So I guess we'll all see!
