There's a hunger strike at Logan Correctional Center, the largest women’s prison in Illinois, for livable living conditions. So far 3 strikers have missed 7 meals.
They say that they've experienced:
🔻Walking through raw sewage in their housing unit; being locked in sewage 🔻Being housed in unlivable conditions that are inhumane and unsanitary
🔻Being denied hepatitis A & B shots after requests because of sewage
🔻 Living on housing unit with 55 women with bed spaces 3 ft apart despite the pandemic (cont.)
