There is a small group of Brahmins called MADHWAS. Generally we consider ourselves as not so smart as other south India Brahmins. 1. When not even a few temples were built in the last century, we have constructed 750 plus Raghavendra Swamy mutts alone in addition to other mutts
Every city , town, village has atleast a few of our mutts all over south India. 2. Wherever we go , our first point of contact is our mutt 3. We positively go to our mutts every Thursday 4. We will wear only our traditional dress 5. We follow our Swamy Ji implicitly.
