Yes, economies should be transformed to ensure everyone can enjoy their rights.
But the Trump approach does not care for people's lives & rights. There are other reforms we could make instead.

What we see is a combination of tarriffs together with
- slashing billions in spending,
- firing thousands of public employees, many of whom are Black,
- gutting programs vital for health care, education and other rights...

Dear @KLM I'm writing to you to expose what could appear to be discriminatory behaviour, or worse. I hope the world will watch what you really are.
Today, we had a colleague booked on KLM from Ghana to Santiago/Chile through Amsterdam. You denied him boarding without legal ground
@KLM staff in Accra and a @KLM operator on the phone argued based on this website made by KLM klm.traveldoc.aero that an Ivorian cannot transit through Amsterdam without a visa. However, the official @DutchMFA website clearly states such visa is not required in his case.

I'm SHOCKED by the level of misinformation (lies?) in this article economist.com/leaders/2019/0…. I don't even know where to start with unpacking the untruths of this piece. A few examples in this thread.
