The founders excluded minorities, women, & the poor leaving “a minority of people running the government, a body politic dedicated to the needs of [white] men of property.”

Sad GOP is this in 2020 1980 GOP:

While stopped at a traffic light in Santa Monica, I noticed this fearsome looking machine with a loud muffler behind us. A mile later the dude raced past me blowing “coal” into my open car window. I’m sure they were coming home from a long day working at the urban farm in Los Angeles or transporting the 10,000 pounds of heavy tools to the job site.
