Testosterone is synthesized from cholesterol in a process that is initiated inside the mitochondria.

Low testosterone in men is a consequence of poor mitochondrial function, and it is reversible without exogenous hormones.

Your doctor will never tell you this.Image The fastest way to restore mitochondrial function is a regular practice of ice baths.

How to mess up your mitochondria and die an early, miserable death.

A thread. 1. Eat carbs. LOTS of them, all the time. Overloading your mitochondria with glucose will create reactive oxygen species (ROS) that damage your mitochondrial DNA.

And snack lots, so your mitochondria never have a chance to restore.

This thread will bring out the trolls who say "Prof Seager is irresponsible & dangerous. He should be banned from social media for life."

I wouldn't believe it myself, if it weren't for the science backing up.

Dean Hall cured his cancer with cold water swimming. Dean had already survived one cancer. And lost his first wife to brain cancer.

So when his doctor diagnosed him with an incurable leukemia, he almost gave up. No one would have blamed him.

In 2015, @TheAtlantic ran an article saying "scientists were just beginning to understand Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)."

Allopathetic medicine claims they don't know what causes it, and there is no cure for it.
theatlantic.com/health/archive… But like many of the diseases of modernity, PCOS was very rare before seed oils & corn syrup.

The close association between PCOS and insulin resistance suggests that metabolic remedies (e.g., keto) may be an effective resolution.

This excerpt from @joerogan podcast with @davidgoggins describes what happened to me when I started working out AFTER my ice bath (to get my PSA down).

My total testosterone went from 736 to 1180 ng/dL.

Other men are getting comparable results.
open.spotify.com/episode/69QtiF… Doing cold exposure before your workout is called "pre-cooling."

It yields big gains in peak muscle power & endurance, in addition to the testosterone boost.

Insulin resistance in women is associated with increased rates of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) & infertility.

Although there is no approved cure or treatment, targeting brown fat is promising.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P… In rats with induced PCOS, transplantation of brown fat restored estrus, reversed PCOS, and restored fertility.

It's been more than a year since I put this data on Twitter. It caused a minor stir then.

By now, you know the mortality stats & the "died suddenly" cases have gone up & up.

Now we're finally allowed to state the obvious:

The vaxx is killing more kids than COVID ever did. Excess all-cause deaths in young people climbed as vaxx uptake increased, & now decline as uptake falls.

The more kids got vaxxed, the more kids died. Image

If you know someone who suffers from major depression, it may be because they aren't getting enough magnesium

Magnesium supplements have been shown to improve measures of mental health, at least as well as anti-depressants @Grimhood journals.plos.org/plosone/articl… Magnesium is critical for both metabolism & for mental health & you're probably not getting enough from your diet

I add Epsom salt to my ice bath, but does transdermal absorption provide an effective dose?

Type 2 diabetes is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugars. It results from an imbalance between carbohydrate intake and expenditure.

Fasting, ketogenic diets, & exercise can reverse T2D.

So can ice bath cryotherapy.
morozkoforge.com/post/ice-bath-… Insulin resistance is a precursor to Type 2 diabetes, sometimes called pre-diabetes, that reduces the effectiveness of insulin for clearing glucose from the blood stream.

It paradoxically causes increased insulin & high blood sugars.

In Hashimoto's thyroiditis, insufficient levels of thyroid hormone disrupt metabolism. It is the most common autoimmune disorder in the US, affecting 7x times as many women as men.

Adrienne used to be one of those women.
morozkoforge.com/post/how-i-cur… Adrienne was suffering hair loss, weight gain, heartburn, dry skin, brain fog, allergies, & migraines. Her doctors diagnosed Hashimoto's and prescribed drugs for her to take the rest of her life.

That didn't sound right to Adrienne.

Went to the Jordan Peterson show last night. Security warned us that JP has a "zero tolerance for negative comments," & that anyone making negative comments would be ejected.

During Q&A, someone asked: "Do you think about whether you're leading people in the wrong direction?"

JP answered "all the time."

Then he referenced comparisons b/n himself & Adolf Hitler, with a rambling account of post WWI Germany & the conditions under which Hitler was elected

Colleges have managed to institutionalize mechanisms for cultivating mental disorders.
tpseager.medium.com/the-9-cognitiv… Each of these cognitive distortions encourages inferior thinking by promising the reward of superior feeling.

E.g., Just because we’re in pain does not mean that someone has hurt us. Confusing feelings with thoughts, or feelings with reality, is a cognitive distortion.

The Ma Bell phone system was a peer-to-peer network, whereas old school radio & TV were broadcast networks.

We broke the phone monopoly, but not the phone system topology. The phone network remains peer-to-peer.

Stick with me... Napster was a peer-to-peer network, too -- but we pulled the regulatory rug out from under it when the corporate copyright holders complained that P2P was sucking the profits out of digital culture

What replaced Napster?

When lawmakers are considering new rules to reduce school and mass shootings, they would do well to consider the role of SSRIs.

thoughtcatalog.com/jeremy-london/… A British psychiatrist claims that "90% of school shootings have been linked to a widely prescribed type of antidepressant called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or SSRIs."

Let's do some science. The hypothesis we are going to attempt to falsify is this:

If the COVID vaxx is safe & effective, then all-cause US mortality will decline after vaxx rollout.

And weekly mortality data in elderly shows some decline in early 2021 (maybe). Image No such decline in all-cause mortality is found among younger senior citizens. Deaths in the 65-74 age group are higher in 2021 than in 2020, despite the vaxx roll out. Image

My Dad, the original Dr. Seager, passed away this morning. My sister called.

He was a complicated man. Gay, charismatic, intelligent, narcissistic. It took me 50 years to even begin to understand the wounds of my childhood. What died today wasn't the Man. It was the faint hope for the apology Little Tommy still craves from his Father.

Since publishing 'The Curve is Already Flat,' @AJKayWriter has been censored by @Medium, accused of incompetence, belittled, subjected to personal attacks, and ridiculed.

She has also enjoyed a deluge of support, addn info, and helpful critique. morozkoforge.com/post/the-curve… This thread is to describe how her article was produced.

@AJKayWriter is the primary author. My role was to review her analysis, check her sources, design her graphs. It took days of intensive effort to x-check the calculations, discuss with colleagues, critique & revise.
