Bernie Sanders gave me, my wife, and many others a reason to continue onward in our medical profession. The prospect of change and liberation from a predatory system was the hope that kept us going.

1 / 11 Not for me, we all say. We're in this to save lives and make an impact on patients' lives. Both myself and so many others are reaching the stage of cynicism. It is disempowering to figure out that the patients you are passionate about work against you.
