i think katsuki would use shouto’s stomach as a pillow. it takes him about 30 seconds before he pushes shouto’s shirt up, because he likes being skin to skin. resting his cheek against shouto’s soft abdomen. and then he can’t help but turn his head, pressing air-light kisses where he can reach. shouto’s breath hitches. he’s not ticklish, but katsuki knows how badly he’s affected by gentle affection. badly, in a good way.

katsuki late presenting as an omega and hiding it for a while because he’s embarrassed, and then by the time he’s at UA and realizes it’s not something to be embarrassed by, it feels like it’s too late to admit it. shouto’s an omega too. one of the reasons why katsuki realized it’s fine to be one, actually. shouto embraces that side of himself in a way that’s unimaginable to katsuki.

Izuku watches as Masaru carries the last box out of the dorm rooms.

Auntie is not here. Izuku hasn't seen her since the funeral. His mom said she doesn't like to leave home much if she can help it.

Izuku offered to help with the packing, but Masaru calmly rejected him. He understands, of course. But he wishes he could have seen Katsuki's room one last time. Wishes he could have taken one last look around the neatly-made bed, the books and manga lining the shelves, the black graphic Ts.

It's okay. It's just another sacrifice he has to make.

It's 3am, and Izuku is fixing himself a snack in the kitchen. He should be asleep. Everyone else is.

But the nightmares have been plaguing him all week, and they culminated in the worst one yet tonight.

the fact that i can move my thumbs across the tiny keyboard on my phone screen to make up words, and those words can make tears form in someone else’s eyes, somewhere across the world, a person whom i’ll never meet, yet whose emotions i have impacted… i feel like sometimes we forget how amazing the internet is because there is so much toxic shit going on here but.

i am so grateful to be living in this era.

and to everyone who tells me how my words make them feel, i am so thankful to you too.

consider an AU in which izuku remained quirkless and never went to UA. he and inko moved away after the sludge villain accident, and katsuki never saw him again.

katsuki went to UA. got humbled by his classmates. fought a war and won. met the love of his life. he still thinks about izuku sometimes. he has tried to track him down on the internet throughout the years, but he can never find him.

even at 25, a fully fledged pro hero on the brink of taking the top spot, somewhere in the back of his mind, there is a nagging feeling.
