2. Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for eleven suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Eight of these cases are from the same organisation in Ibadan South West Local Government Area referred to in the update of May 16, 2020. One case is from Oluyole Local Government Area.
2. We also have a further update on the two absconded cases reported earlier today. They absconded before being admitted to any of our isolation centres. After intensive contact tracing, one of them has been found and admitted to the IDC, Olodo. https://twitter.com/seyiamakinde/status/1258012429201653761?s=20

I enjoined all traditional rulers and leaders in various zones in Oyo State to keep an eye on the distribution to ensure that only people who qualify get the palliatives. If they suspect any foul play, they should contact us.
The results of five suspected cases came back POSITIVE on 04/05/2020. Four of these five cases are immigrants and the last person is an Oyo State resident.
We are already in the process of acquiring more reagents in the shortest possible time, to enable us clear the backlog. We appeal for patience from those who are awaiting results.
