For folks who are unaware, there is and has been a MASSIVE effort distinguished by INTIMIDATION and THREATS to silence anyone opposing or reporting on the venture capitalist and think tank funded astroturfers influencing elections in the Bay Area and it’s not being reported on. It has been going on for years. They threaten families, children, dig for info, contact employers, etc - and it’s not being reported on. They provide backup for people who want to keep their hands clean and reporters won’t report on them because they’re SCARED THEMSELVES.

Pretty amazing how much funny business coming out lately in national and international media is in the periphery of Neighbors for a Better San Francisco, Together SF, and the people who recalled the school board. Where do you even start?
Chronologically? With the people who make the most money from PACs? With the people who are most connected? Or with the people who gathered signatures for the recall?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mr Badly would have set up his LLC with Cloud Peak Law in Wyoming mere days before this article came out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cloud Peak is interesting and has quite the history. The Pierces of Cloud Peak come from tiny Story, WY. Story, WY is also the home of Wagon Box and Wagon DAO, where Seneca Scott is scheduled to speak this month.

No ones really talking about how Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s ballot access guy was reportedly arrested in February in Seattle for fourth degree assault, in April in NY for choking and punching a woman in the head, and in May in Dallas for violating a restraining order on a plane. I’ve pretty much just seen this article here covering it. mediaite.com/news/exclusive…

How the Right Made Homelessness a Crime:
How one venture capitalist Trump supporter peddled a crackdown on unhoused people all the way to the Supreme Court

rollingstone.com/politics/polit… “Staff of Lonsdale’s Cicero Institute have criss-crossed the country to sell state legislatures on the idea that Austin’s ban is working, and that other states can best address rising homelessness by criminalizing it more thoroughly.” rollingstone.com/politics/polit…

David Sacks, major funder of the “Democrat led” San Francisco recalls, will be speaking at the Republican National Convention. Journalists who insisted the recalls came from true blue democrats did, and continue to do, the public a disservice. bloomberg.com/news/articles/… I saw the SF “journalist” who carried water for Sacks during the recalls is now at the New York Times.

That’s Tim LeFever of the Council for National Policy and former Ted Cruz delegate (alongside notables such as Dominic Foppoli, Pam Silleman, and Bill Cardoza). Image

Notable because:
Dominic is the Robert Stryk backed alleged rapey ex-mayor
Pam was allegedly getting sloshed with Amy Kremer during the insurrection
Bill helped facilitate Jorge Riley’s transportation to the insurrection where he was one of the first to Pelosi’s office

Don’t worry, the nice guys behind Palantir (like @garrytan of @growsf and Peter Thiel) made this stuff. slate.com/technology/201…

Image The reporting about Palantir really came out in early 2019. Garry Tan’s vlog lamenting not getting in at Palantir earlier - so he could have made $200,000,000 more - came out in December of 2019. blog.garrytan.com/working-for-mi…

To have priority to Peter Thiel and Garry Tan’s May 5th “Holy Guacamole” event, you have to buy tickets to a Destiny Rescue fundraiser on May 4th. What is Destiny Rescue? It sounds a lot like Tim Ballard’s Operation Underground Railroad. “In addition to rescue operations, Destiny Rescue also runs reintegration programming throughout Africa and Asia…survivors who enter our care after rescue follow individualized Freedom Plans™.” What exactly is a Freedom Plan? When I was a kid, I was put in a residential treatment center like some politicians are asking for. There, we had to “learn” and embody certain qualities like “integrity” or “responsibility.” We couldn’t pass levels without getting the approval of both staff and our peers. 1/x This would take months of proving yourself along with petty stuff and setbacks and work hours. It could take years to pass all the levels. But politicians and Tough Love folks decided locking kids up and training them this way was for the best. 2/x

Mike Solana of Pirate Wires and Founders Fund is also one of Bari Weiss’s “Forbidden Lecturers” at the college she has on Harlan Crow’s property.
Solana was also one of the people who got special thanks for his financial networking for the SF school board recall. The others were Garry Tan, Sachin Agarwal, Steven Buss (all of Grow SF) and Jay Cheng (of Neighbors for a Better San Francisco). Image

I made a transcript of Garry Tan and Balaji Srinivasan’s talk at the 2023 Network State Conference which I will thread out below:
1/15 “SF has a drug problem, SF has a cleanliness problem, SF has an education problem, SF has an anti-tech problem. SF has a fundamentally political problem. So, the question is how do we solve it?” 2/15

I hope people are paying attention to these rich guys trying to destroy legacy media in order to bring their own. Once, Balaji said “If things get hot, it may be interesting to sic the Dark Enlightenment audience on a single vulnerable hostile reporter to dox them and turn them inside out with hostile reporting sent to *their* advertisers/friends/contacts” web.archive.org/web/2021021310…

The Voice of San Francisco.
EIN: 93-4116092
Effective date: Oct 25, 2023
Let’s see where this one goes. 🍿 Image I wonder if it’s going to be a new nonprofit online newspaper from San Jose Susan and friends.

(Adorable for an “investigative reporter” to quote tweet a documented astroturfing account replying to one involved with No Labels and not see any story there.) Image
