There's something about "Hakken is a girl, I can hold her hand 🥰" that rubs me the wrong way. Too many girls are invalidating Hakken's agender experience and preference to present as a man because they want to justify touching someone without having it called out as "haram". You are fetishising Hakken as a man, but use "she's a girl" to deflect criticism, while invalidating the person's gender experience.

You can fanboy/fangirl over anyone you want, but it's uncomfortable to watch the public paint their own narrative of Hakken's gender experience.

Corruption in Malaysia is not just a virus you can cure. Dia dah jadi akar umbi negara. How else can we have the same government for 60 years? And the toppling of a new government only 22 months after GE14? It's larger than any of us. People have died trying to fight it. From the surface, it looks like petty politicians bickering. My mum always asks me, "Kenapa MySJ like this? Kenapa tak dapat date vaccination lagi? Sektor apa yang open? Semalam kerajaan cakap lain, kenapa hari ni lain?" and other stuff. This is what I advised her: 1. Don't count on MySJ for the vaccination date. You can check, but don't expect. Anggap fungsi terutama MySJ adalah untuk check-in je.

2. Don't need to stress over memorising what sectors are open. Mengelirukan. Anggap je semua tutup. Kalau perlu service dorang, baru check.

Is pre-marital sex a more urgent issue than child marriage? It's true that abstinence prevents STDs and sex-related issues. If all these things come from sex, then we just get rid of the sex, right? However, it's not as simple as that.

In fact, Al-Ghazali played role in the decline by saying that 'falsafa' was incompatible with Islam. He did this because he believed the philosophies and scientific discoveries that were propagated by his counterparts were not Islamic.

What is promoting zina? "You should have sex before marriage!"

What is NOT promoting zina? "We cannot dictate people's choices to have sex before/after marriage, but they should learn safe sex to avoid STDs, unwanted pregnancies, and coercion/manipulation." I've been getting tweets like these saying that teaching safe sex is basically teaching "safe zina".

The main problem here is that one group focuses on the word "zina", while another is focused on the word "safe".
