Ofcourse @bbclaurak invites Cleo Watson, former Vote Leave staffer to her show. Kind reminder that Laura collaborated with Vote Leave to lie about whistleblower revelations and spread disinformation through her interviews to protect Vote Leave. Laura is a perfect example of the disingenuous and manipulative nature of the British media and its fox skin antics of protecting those in power for their own personal ambitions. Embarrassing at best, but mostly just sad.

I’m having to explain what’s happening in Pakistan to friends in the U.K. to shock & horror. The effect of years of denying climate change are clear.

The scale of these floods is as if EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON in the U.K. lost their home and had no provisions. Please reflect. People from within my direct circles have set up a relief fund to give directly to people affected and organisations who have people in those areas. This tiny little island has contributed mostly violence & regression to most of the world. As tomorrow is #TransPride in London, I had a collection of thoughts to share regarding the exponential increase in anti-trans rhetoric across the U.K. and why I believe it is directly connected to Brexit, Donald Trump, Johnson & the wider rise of white supremacist ideologies. It comes as no surprise to anyone that we are living in unprecedented times. The blip in American politics of a Democratic leader will be relaxed by years of Republican rule that will see the rise of fascism & white supremacist patriarchy on a scale we have never seen before.
