I’m having to explain what’s happening in Pakistan to friends in the U.K. to shock & horror. The effect of years of denying climate change are clear.

The scale of these floods is as if EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON in the U.K. lost their home and had no provisions. Please reflect. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with suggesting de-escalation. Corbyn might be a troglodyte at times, but the way white liberals in the United Kingdom are frothing at the mouth over him suggesting or criticising arms dumping into war-torn countries is not morally wrong.

As tomorrow is #TransPride in London, I had a collection of thoughts to share regarding the exponential increase in anti-trans rhetoric across the U.K. and why I believe it is directly connected to Brexit, Donald Trump, Johnson & the wider rise of white supremacist ideologies. It comes as no surprise to anyone that we are living in unprecedented times. The blip in American politics of a Democratic leader will be relaxed by years of Republican rule that will see the rise of fascism & white supremacist patriarchy on a scale we have never seen before.
