(1/7) Our children are not for sale! I am pushing for California Senate Bill 357 (loitering with intent to sell sex) to be repealed by CA Governor @GavinNewsom , Senate President Pro Tem @SenToniAtkins , and Assembly Speaker @RendonAD62 as quickly as possible. (2/7) Although this law now essentially making loitering with intent to sell sex legal was well intentioned seeking to protect victims it will most likely be a civil rights assault on the most vulnerable victims of human trafficking which are children.

(1/5) NEWS: This morning as I continue my western regional trip I am pushing for the repeal of a state law in CA. California Senate Bill 357 is a civil rights assault on children across the state and must be repealed. The bill passed by the state legislature, Image (2/5) brought forth by State Senator Scott Wiener and signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom was well intentioned but not well not well implemented. The legislation now law in CA decriminalizes loitering with the intent to sell sex.
