What this has taught me:
1. Validity of his being-scammed claims aside, people will forgive a Malay man just because he's 'young', despite him clearly plagiarising his thesis, which is a SERIOUS offence in the academic world. 2. Malaysians will believe anything that may 'mengharumkan nama negara di persada dunia'. We have an inferiority complex, sigh. It's time to build up our own institutions to be internationally-recognised, rather than just be proud of others'.
