Despite being very close to Mumbai and Thane, Wada, Vikramgad, Jawhar and Mokhada blocks of Palghar District are still far from development. Mountain ranges and rivers makes this area scenically very beautiful. Keshav Srushti Gram Vikas Yojana is working since 2017 for overall development of villages in this belt. After doing study of need of these villages they have decided to focus following areas:
-Water Resource Management
-Innovative Agriculture Skills Training
