1/22 Long thread: Imagine that BCCDC COVID-19 data is guarded like money in a bank (Bank of BCCDC). This bank has only 6 accounts: Fraser & Vancouver Coastal Health are largest, followed by Interior, Northern, Vancouver Island Health (smallest), & Unknown (last one a mystery). 2/22 You own the VCH account. For months, everything is normal. Occasional minor errors, quickly corrected. But there are rumors of mysterious transactions between accounts. You check paper statements & find everything intact. Except the online statements now differ from yours.

1/10 Long thread: BC CDC data is being manipulated months after first release to fit govt agenda.

For each Health Authority, Unknowns in daily data are for undetermined age. They get reallocated into specific age categories at a later date.

That's how it should work, but... 2/10 Unknown numbers for Total Tests (via daily data dump) keep growing & growing. THAT'S TROUBLESOME. Look at the red line below (accumulating total of Health Authorities) up to Oct 28. New Tests spiked to 1314 on Sep 18. Welp, maybe someone had a bad day, didn't enter age data.

1/ LONG THREAD: Active Cases Data Can Mislead

Bonnie Henry thesis: School age cohorts are NOT contributors to community spread. Age groups 20-29 and 30-39 are the culprits.

(Assume data was accurately recorded & no padding with private tests, even though it may not be true.) Image 2/ The previous graph shows active cases for all age groups from Aug 31- Nov 13. No surprises here, all curves trend upwards, rising sharply for 20-29 yr and 30-39 yr adults. One might argue that these are the major spreaders due to high number of active cases. Is it really true?
