Okay, here's how I (and presumably several others) landed vaxx slots so early into the rollout.
1. Register beneficiary (or -ies) on Cowin. Everything else is secondary.
2. Go to under45.in (s/o to @BertyThomas) and find the Telegram channel for your district.
3. Subscribe to your district's Telegram channel - THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP. 4. Between 4 pm and 9 pm, you will receive updates in this Telegram channel whenever a centre updates with available vaccination slots.
Here's where it starts to get tricky...

Just got a brilliant scam call that I almost fell for. Impressed with the flow of the scam and the machinations that went into it.
Will try and explain what happened but some details are a li'l fuzzy.

The person who called claimed he was from the credit card dept of my bank. Usually, most scam calls this way, so I was on alert.
Scammer had my bank name right, though, so I was just guarded and not in full-blown rejection mode...
