My recent post about a Domestic Violence incident brought some...interesting people to my page, so I thought I'd do a thread on what I call "necessary escalation" involving police response.

1/ So, I'll preface this whole thing with the fact that I'm generally a supporter of de-escalation in a wide array of circumstances. A fight avoided is frequently a fight won, and I like Patrick Skinner's idea of "How would I solve this if I didn't have a badge/gun?"
