3 days ago a piece came out that India is looking to procure Pralay SRBMs and proposal for an 'Indian Rocket Force' is at highest level at MoD, lets look at the obvious inspiration from our northern neighbors, PLARF. 2021 was a very good year for DRDO. A lot of missiles were tested. Here's listing all of them
- SFDR - was tested on Mar 5 and Dec 16. Has been tested 4 times now
- MRSAM(IAF) - First Firing Unit was delivered to IAF on Sep 9
- AGNI P - Was tested twice this year Jun 21, Dec 18 - LRSAM(IN) - Final production batch was flagged off.
- HELINA(Army) & Dhruvastra(IAF) -They've completed user trials as of Feb 19
- MPATGM - Was tested on July 21
- SANT - Flight tested on Dec 11
- Akash NG - Was tested 3 times this year, Jan 25, Jul 21, Jul 23
