one thing is clear from this college admissions fraud business: privileged white crime in the US has gotten lazy and bad. staging photos for an athletic profile in water polo, a sport that doesnt even exist?? we can do better. thread. America used to be THE place for white-collar crime. In my day we had the Enron guys, first-class criminals who played complex accounting shell-games that were incomprehensible to all but the most thorough experts, through confusing jargon, numbers, and crafty thwarting of law.
