First question is dumb. Vax spike is not the same as viral spike.
Viral spike is attached to an actual virus. After binding to ACE2 receptor with its RBD it cleaves exposing a fusion peptide it uses to anchor to the cell membrane allowing for the entry of ssRNA into the cytosol
