California is declaring a state of emergency in light of its 1st death due to coronavirus in Placer County AND b/c of the revelation that person was likely exposed during a Feb. 11-21 cruise on a Princess cruise ship that departed from San Francisco to Mexico, Gov. Newsom says
Newsom said "by one estimate over 50% of the passengers ... roughly 2,500 passengers that does not include the crew are Californians."
Officials are working to contact all of the passengers from that cruise.
