If you look at the Mfers contract, it uses IPFS to point to the tokenURI. This is the right way, and shows that the creator cares about provenance.
Also this makes the NFT future proof since there is no 3rd party that hosts the files.

OK let's walk through how this whole @TwitterBlue hexagon NFT system works.
Very few understand how it works underneath, which is where all the confusion comes from.
I found out that Opensea has delisted the collection without notice. I've reached out to ask why but haven’t heard back yet
Even if they never respond, I do have a bulletproof solution regardless, ready to be deployed soon (thread)
First of all, if you ALREADY have your PFP NFT as your Twitter profile currently, it seems to be still working.
Just make sure to NOT switch it to another NFT until I release the solution.
