Our @SLCgov FY25 budget proposal is anchored by a commitment to support families, residents, and Salt Lake City's incredibly bright future. In my State of the City address, I outlined my intention for #SLC to level up and embrace the opportunities ahead. And oh how I’ve worked hard to ensure those opportunities come here. In April, we hosted the International Olympic Committee’s Future Host Commission. We are closer than ever to securing the 2034 Winter Olympic & Paralympic Games and are prepared to sign the contract this July in Paris. Less than 2 weeks later, I was honored to join you in the exciting announcement that a new NHL franchise is moving to SLC this year!

The months and years ahead will require great care from City leadership to ensure these opportunities also help foster our broader goals, to support a more people-focused, family-focused experience in our downtown core. We are poised to deliver on those intentions.

I know you have a lot of questions about going to work. I am asking businesses to make responsible decisions for their employees and the general public.
