The way colon cancer comes and snatches our Black men from us too soon!
Let me not go into a health disparities lecture
Black men did at higher rates from colon cancer than their white peers. Sure that gap has narrowed. But here we are talking about a man who was 43 yrs old, who had the money and access to the best care possible and is now gone. Literally too soon

I get it, we cannot legit stop you. It’s the internet. It’s twitter. But #BlackInTheIvory really wasn’t created with research in mind.
And if research IS EVER TO BE DONE we want it to be done by BLACK folx. These are OUR STORIES! we aren’t the researched we are the researchers! Understand that.
