1️⃣ @behrens_georg , Markus Hoffmann & team examined antibody responses induced by the novel LP.8.1-adapted mRNA vaccine. 2️⃣ Major finding:
The vaccine markedly boosts neutralizing antibody responses against the currently dominant variants NB.1.8.1 and XFG.
➡️ Enhanced protection against severe COVID-19 can be expected.
