I have some hot takes *on* the hot takes about Will Smith yesterday.
I will preface it all with my opinion that what he did was not cool. He should have held his composure, and a lot of it CAN be traced back to *their* decision to talk about their personal life openly.

You may have heard of the origin story of FedEx: Fred Smith, while in Yale, wrote a paper for an economics class outlining an overnight delivery service. His professor was unimpressed and gave him a "C".
[so goes the legend...]
Nonetheless, due to his ingenuity and drive, he created FedEx and is now worth over $5 billion.
What a great story about the CAN-DO spirit of entrepreneurship, right?

There's been a lot of consternation amongst my fellow Canadian citizens about COVID/vaccines. Because I'm a nerd who has nothing better to do (and the amount of misinformation is rampant), I thought I'd give you some points to consider (regurgitated from actual experts):

1. We need to stop comparing ourselves to the US or UK. Both dwarf us when it comes to economic power + population + manufacturing capabilities. The fact that we are only trailing these two countries is impressive (more on that later). Neither are exporting either...
@nateliason 1. Balancing relationships is not just about what explicitly someone does for you (and vice versa), but also the mental energy of maintaining that relationship.
Stuff like organizing, planning, etc IS a critical component but is often ignored or not considered.
