During the presidential, my LG Chairman went about town with APC thugs destroying ballot boxes in PUs APC was likely to lose
He made a stop at my PU, called to his thugs to come over. Security fled. We reinforced our PU with our PDP boys, waiting for them to come. They never did
Some times, in making for peace, you prepare for war.
The reason the thugs in Lagos are bold enough to bully people as much as they is because they are never challenged. They live with the misconception that they own a monopoly of violence. They cannot be greater than the people

INEC is setting Nigeria up for crises.
The Constitution allows for the filing of election petitions within 21 days after announcement of results. The law and EPT Rules do not allow for extension of time make filings. Once time effluxes, that's it. The petition is gone. Forever!
To file a successful petition, your pleadings are required to be nearly as accurate to numbers you contend. That's why petitioners require to inspect materials used at an election. Accuracy of numbers is a very important part of an EP filing.

"Igbo & Yoruba don't hate each other" is another politically-correct bs Nigerians tell themselves in the quest to feel good, while playing the ostrich
There's yet deep seated mutual hatred, mistrust and animosity between the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba, flowing from the 1st Republic
The hard, inconvenient truth is, the Igbo doesn't like the Hausa and the Hausa doesn't like the Igbo. In the same token, the Yoruba doesn't like the Igbo neither does the Igbo have any love lost for the yoruba. These feelings are mutual, deep seated, and many times, subconscious.

I hear Nasarawa Broadcasting Corporation has banned its radio stations from playing Christmas carols
When, during next year Ramadan they are challenged against playing Islamic tunes and preachings, you begin to hear talks about need for religious tolerance and religion of peace
Those who raised the ban assume that Nasarawa is a majority "muslim State". Same assumption pushed the illegal Hisbah State police in Kano to embargo jingles about "Black Friday"
Nasarawa's affront on Christians run afoul of the Nigerian Constitution and must be condemned by all
