A Texas school district let me know they can’t invite me to speak to their students for fear of backlash from conservative parents.

Not because of my books, but because I live in a liberal city and the parents would disagree with my political views. If this bothers you, please please write to your own school administration and tell them you stand for the freedom to read and you do not support censorship. This is happening EVERYWHERE. Not just Texas. All kids deserve to see themselves reflected in the books in their schools.

Friends, I have exciting news to share!
I am incredibly honored to be telling the story of the Wild Boars and their rescue from the cave in Thailand.
Allow me to also share some background behind this announcement… This summer, I traveled to Thailand to visit my dad and other family who live there. My plane landed on the day the Wild Boars went missing. We spent most of our time in the North, not far from the Tham Luang Nang Non cave. This story riveted Thailand, as it did the world.
