Using MLB Data

90% of player's max Exit Velo BIP occur @ LAng < Avg. Attack Angle + 11 deg

90% of BIPs @ 95% of a player's max EV @ LAng < AA + 19 deg

90% of BIPs @ 90% max EV @ LAng < AA + 26 deg

why is this so important?

see thread the most efficient production is at LAng's between 10-30 deg (see below)

and hard hit balls are always the goal

can't hit the ball hard at LAng's far from your AA

its why Votto can be bottom quartile for max EV but still rake he maximizes his hard hits
