ACARS data shows that six USAF (🇺🇸) C-17 Globemaster III transport aircraft are scheduled to fly to Naval Station Rota, southern Spain (🇪🇸) today.

All six flights have four-digit RCH callsigns, which are used for high-priority missions. The first C-17 is already on its way after taking off from Al Udeid AB, Qatar (🇶🇦).

It looks like a private jet was intercepted by fighter jets above Germany (🇩🇪).

The private jet took off from Jerez Airport, southern Spain (🇪🇸) and is heading northeast. Currently unknown whether this is an exercise.

Swedish rescue assets, three helicopters and a Coast Guard vessel, are heading to the location where the jet might crash.

SPICY52 is flying at (relatively) low altitudes above the Baltic Sea, while SPICY51 is heading northeast above the North Sea.

The strategy of the United States (🇺🇸) in space is changing and the Space Development Agency’s new constellation is a perfect example.

It will consist of two components: the Transport Layer and the Tracking Layer.

Last night, US Army SOF and the 160th SOAR conducted hostage rescue exercises in San Antonio, TX (🇺🇸).

The night-time exercises will be conducted from Monday through Friday.

The air base is home to Russian (🇷🇺) Su-30SM and Su-24M/MR aircraft and is 200 kilometres away from the frontline.
The air base was actively used by Russia during the last few months.

This is a significant air defence failure (if it’s true that the base got hit by long-range missiles) or they simply didn’t expect Ukraine was able to hit the base (which would be an intelligence failure).

Two RAAF E-3 Wedgetails out of Nellis AFB, Nevada (🇺🇸). 'THDR01' is currently flying around the Nevada Security sites while 'ASY253' seems to be returning to Australia (🇦🇺).

Former US Marine Trevor Reed has been exchanged for Konstantin Yaroshenko.

The Russian pilot is serving a 20-year sentence for conspiracy to smuggle cocaine into the US after his arrest in 2010. Reed was recently sentenced to 9 years in prison for assaulting a officer in Moscow. It looks like the prisoner exchange happened in Ankara, #Turkey (🇹🇷) earlier today.

More than 20 countries (mostly NATO and EU) will meet at Ramstein AB (🇩🇪) today to discuss long-term defense issues regarding #Ukraine (🇺🇦).

The aircraft are used to observe (ballistic) missile flights at long range.

Eighteen Il-76 aircraft have reportedly taken off from Pskov and are heading to Kyiv, #Ukraine (🇺🇦).

The military transport aircraft will arrive in roughly one hour. Pskov a Russian city near the border with Estonia and Latvia. These aircraft will likely try to land at the Hostomel military airport near Kyiv, which was reportedly taken by the Russian forces.

Let’s hope the Ukrainians have their Stingers ready to fire.

BREAKING: The Dutch Air Force (🇳🇱) will deploy two F-35’s to Eastern Europe today.

This deployments was scheduled for March and April, but was brought forward because of the situation in #Ukraine (🇺🇦). More fighter jet activity at Leeuwarden AB. Unknown where they are headed.
