imho, it's a perfectly valid question. there's some deeply confused slight-of-hand in LGBT ideology between who someone is (unchangeable, given, etc.) and how they label their response to that given aspect (why "gay" instead of "queer", "shy", "trans", "tomboy", "celibate", etc?)

20th century american culture has channeled a lot of evil toward my mom. i get upset about it on a very regular weekly basis.
it goes so far beyond words to point at a phrase like “political populism is driven very strong, very personal emotions”. the medical system has tortured my mom for over 20 years now. just stop torturing my mom lol
