Going to attempt this 100-opinion thread on digital products. Already stressed about trying to hit 100. 1/ Mediocre products can and do succeed. most people don’t want the “best” of anything, just the best for them given their context. This is something most product people get wrong; they think there is a prototypical ideal for the product they are building.
