Thereâs no archaeology to back this up. The idea of the Patriarchs and Abraham at best is a literary attempt to unify the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. But thereâs simply no archaeological record of any mass migration in the time period described from Mesopotamia to Canaan.
Two other points that canât be ignored and shed light on the accuracy of the 12 Tribes:
1) The use of camels as beasts of burden which from archaeological evidence wasnât a thing until âwell after 1000 bce.â
2) The Philistines werenât established in Caanan until after 1200 bce
